    The sounds have so many traits, how can some Ion able to translate into signal to represend the complexity of sound onto our brain?

    • @StudentHelp4AP
      @StudentHelp4AP Месяц назад

      It's not the ions, it's which receptors are stimulated, when, and how often that allows our brain to perceive sounds differently.

    Super helpful thank you! The calculations and numbers definitely help a lot more to explain how the different pressures result in fluid moving out and in to the capillaries

      The target audience for this video is 100-level majors A&P students. This is how the vast majority of the textbooks for this course covers translation.

    I thought that channels in T tubules that are linked to channels in SR are Ca2+ voltage gated (DHP receptors) as well. Or are they actually Na+ voltage gated? I'm so lost

    Thank you so much, Dr. Sullivan!! I’m not currently a student but I enjoy learning about anatomy. A few months ago, when I came across your podcast “Anatomy and Physiology - Bit by Bit” I was SO excited to find such a detailed podcast, I had to share it with my friends. I cannot explain how thankful I am for those podcasts which literally explain “bit by bit”. I saw there weren’t any uploads since 2020 so when I got the notification today that there was a new episode, I gasped so loud everyone in my work office heard me lol. Thank you for your hard work and congrats on coming back! 🎉
